Description
Shafts are made from cold drawn and grind bar (tolerance h8). Taper for propeller 1:10, thread for nut and keyway are at one side.
Material for making shafts is stainless steel resistant to sea water:
  • mark AISI 316L or
  • mark AISI 630, of higher strength (“remanit“)

We produce various types of shafts:
  •  according to the technical documentation of the Customer,
  •  according to the type of ship (taking measures on board, making drawings, production of shafts),
  •  according to the special requests.

We produce shafts for ships under the supervision of classification societies. We do the structure calculation and the classification documentation for shafts.
