Description
Grease box is used for adding grease into the bearings of propeller shafts, steering shafts or other bearings, stuffing box etc.
It is made of stainless material: pipe and spindle are made of INOX, lids and piston are made of brass and clamp of aluminium alloy. On the outgoing lid there is a fitting 3/8“ for connection with the grease piping that leads to the bearing. Grease box can be attached to vertical or other wall of the ship’s structure.
Grease volume is 0,35 dm3. Grease is injected into the bearing by turning the spindle.
