Description
The steering wheel rotates the pump shaft which activates the pistons and pushes oil into the cylinder, which turns the rudder. By turning the wheel clockwise (to the right) the cylinder turns the rudder to the right and the boat turns right and vice versa.
Steering wheel is made of mahogany or stainless steel and in combination. In the middle of the wheel there is a hub with a conical hole as a mounting for the pump shaft. Rim of the wheel is round or with spokes for easier turning.
