Description
Bell housing is designed for the fixed connection of the marine engine to the gearbox.
It is made from steel or aluminium alloy.
Larger (open) side is screwed to the engine housing (around flywheel), and the other side to the gearbox (around input shaft).
The shape of the bell housing can be dish-shaped, concave or flat. There are distant rings and reducing rings.
The bell housing dimensions are determined by SAE standards or factory standards.

and others.
